Diese Installation hinterfragt das Konzept von Freiheit angesichts gegenwärtiger globaler Migrationspolitik, die mittels Grenzen, Restriktionen und Inhaftierungen im direkten und übertragenden Sinne Architekturen der gesellschaftlichen Trennung errichtet und verschärft. "This installation is an investigation into the concept of freedom within the domain of migration, borders, restriction, and incarceration. The current architecture of division in Syria and breakup of community in exile come into sharp focus. In final analyses this proposal attempts to interrogate questions of identity and nationhood, our relationship to confines of space and how the gap in our social structures between the privileged and the disenfranchised globally grows wider."
