C&K GALERIE

Von 2014 bis 2020 betrieben sie die C&K Galerie in Berlin-Mitte (Joachimstraße). Aktuell sind sie ohne Galerieräume aktiv. Langjährige Erfahrung und Zusammenarbeit mit Künstler: innen ist das Fundament ihrer Arbeit, die geprägt ist von der Auffassung, dass Kunst Anregung, Provokation, Utopie, Emotion ist und kein Renditevehikel. Sie vertreten zeitgenössische deutsche und internationale Künstler:innen, die die Grenzen der klassischen Medien Malerei, Skulptur und Zeichnung auf eigenwillige Art neu ausloten. From 2012, the gallerist Christiane Bühling-Schultz and the art historian Dr Karin Rase realised curated exhibitions in Berlin under the label "C&K unterwegs". From 2014 until 2020 they ran the C&K Galerie in Berlin-Mitte (Joachimstraße). Currently they are active without gallery space. Many years of experience and cooperation with artists are the basis of their work, which is characterised by the notion that art is stimulation, provocation, utopia, emotion and not a vehicle for profit. C&K represents contemporary German and international artists who explore the boundaries of the classical media of painting, sculpture and drawing in an idiosyncratic way.
